ABC Orthopedics is primarily focused on making assessments of orthopedic injuries such as fractures and general orthopedic ailments. We mainly accept patients with referrals from e.g. emergency rooms and health centers. We have specialist doctors in orthopaedics, plaster technicians and nurses with extensive experience in orthopedic ailments working with us.

We collaborate with physiotherapists throughout Stockholm to facilitate rehabilitation after your injury. This means that you as a patient can carry out rehabilitation in an area, at a reception that you have chosen yourself.

Our services

Follow up

Orthopedic injuries, initially evaluated by emergency GP or health center, need following up. This normally happens after 5-15 days, to evaluate if the orthopedic injury is healing properly or if further measures are needed.

We work closely with Region Stockholm's emergency hospital, and make sure that you as a patient are referred promptly in case needed.

Insurance patients

ABC Ortopedi has agreements and cooperate with a variety of insurance companies. Many companies offer their employees health care insurance. You can also sign your own private health care insurance.

Your insurance company can refer you to us for an evaluation, and the insurance company's health care planning will book your doctor's appointment.

Patient care

We offer an orthopedic clinic with high availability for patients and referring doctor/clinic, and operate towards a fast and correct care of patients with orthopedic injuries.

The staff is consist of experienced orthopedic specialists, plaster technicians, nurses and other health personnel, with years of experience.

Specialist physician in orthopedics. Educated at the Karolinska institute and formerly worked at the Karolinska university hospital. Has worked a lot with athletic injuries, been a doctor for the national handball team, and doctor in connection to the olympic games in Rio 2016.

Chief Medical Officer – Child fractures

Assistant chief physician in pediatric orthopedics. Doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet with experience from the pediatric orthopedic clinic at Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital and New Karolinska Solna. Knowledge of congenital and acquired deformities in children.

Checklist before visit

  • We're a cash free clinic, therefore bring your creditcard. We don't handle American Express or Swish.
  • You need a booked appointment.
  • Before your visit you need a new x-ray. Preferably the same day as your visit, alternatively they day before.
  • ABC Ortopedi only admits county patients with referrals from doctors, health centers or emergency GP.
  • If you're missing a referral, you have to make an appointment first with your doctor or visit a health center, before you visit ABC Ortopedi.

Rescheduling less than 24 hours prior to your booked appointment will add a surcharge of 400 kr regardless of reason. Failure to appear will result in charging for the full appointment.

Information om coronaviruset

På grund av rådande omständigheter med Corona-utbrottet i samhället är din och andras säkerhet viktigast för oss. Vi följer Folkhälsomyndighetens och Region Stockholms rekommendationer.

Inom region Stockholm är majoriteten av planerad vård tillsvidare inställd. Avseende frakturuppföljningar, klassas dessa som akut vård och genomförs som vanligt, men inbokade mottagningsbesök kan komma att ställas in/ändras med kort varsel, så var noga med att passa din telefon.

Vi uppmanar patienter med förkylningssymptom att ta kontakt med oss så snart som möjligt innan sin mottagningstid för att om möjligt ordna med ett besök över video/telefon alternativt anpassa tiden för besöket.

Vi uppdaterar hemsidan kontinuerligt när ytterligare information finns att ge.
